Cliffs of Moher

Ireland’s third most visited place (after the Guinness Storehouse and the zoo), but probably the most iconic, is the Cliffs of Moher.

I’ve never managed to see them in the sun, but we did avoid rain-a massive plus! We saw a couple getting married there this time and all I could think was that she was one brave bride to get married outdoors in the wind and almost rain! Stunning location for a wedding though.

Top of the Rock

In my last post I showed you a photo from our recent hiking trip to the Burren, Co. Clare. We made it to the top of the rock. It was a difficult hike for me. I’m used to forest routes, not rocky ones.

It was worth the trek though to see this and to enjoy a wind-swept lunch at the top.
